About me

Hello, I'm a writer and researcher based in Montreal currently working as a digital editor at the Montreal Gazette. Before that, I covered digital culture as a staff writer for Kill Screen, reported on architecture and planning for UrbanToronto.ca and was one of the writers of the PBS web-series Game/Show. As a freelancer, I also contribute reporting to newspapers, magazines, and websites.

In a previous life, I studied 19th century British history with a focus on gambling laws as precursors to financial regulations and sporting policies. Outside of academia, I worked as a social media manager and content developer for brands, small businesses, and startups for three years.

I have been published by outlets such as The Guardian, The National Post, Kill Screen, Dwell, Major League Soccer, Howler Magazine, Toronto Film Scene, The Dance Current, The Beaverton, and A Football Report. You can read some of my work by visiting my clips page.
